I finally made it. I've been home for about a week now, and its taken me that long to get over the lack of sleep that I accumulated for the past 5 months and to clean up the luggage explosion that happened in my room.

I managed to surprise mum and dad by coming home earlier that I had told them and just rocking up on the door step unannounced. Greeted with cries of delight from my mum and laughter and smiles from my dad, I was welcomed back into the fold and in true asian parent style, was then sat down to be fed good old fashioned home cooking.

It's good to be back in familiar territory where one can expect to drink a decent coffee for a reasonable price and where one's bogan accent doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. I look forward to catching up with all of you back home in the near future. The mobile (yes, its mobile, not cell) is the same as usual.

I'll also be catching up on the months of blogging I neglected while I was away and posting up pictures of the last few months of my adventure up on this blog so stay tuned.
